Kahraman Berk was born in Istanbul. He completed his primary education at Bandırma Vecihibey Primary School and his secondary education at Bursa Namık Sözeri Secondary School. He pursued his high school studies at Bursa Erkek High School and Tekirdağ Tuğlacılar High School. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University in 1995.

In 1996, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Administrative Law at the same university. He completed his Master’s and Ph.D. degrees at the Institute of Social Sciences of Istanbul University.

He received the title of associate professor in 2009 and currently teaches Administrative Litigation Law and Administrative Law courses at Istanbul University. He has been a member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2012 and has also served in various public institutions. In addition to his academic and legal practice, he is fluent in English and Italian.

Ecem Berk was born in Istanbul. She completed her primary and secondary education at the ITU Development Foundation Schools. She continued her high school education at Saint Benoit French High School, where she learned French. Then, she successfully graduated from the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Law in 2024.

To further her legal education internationally, she pursued academic studies abroad, completing her master’s degree in Maritime Law at the University of Law in London. In addition to her academic studies, she undertook a short-term research position at the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

During her studies, she became fluent in English and Spanish. Then, she completed her undergraduate studies at Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law, where she graduated with distinction in 2025.

With the aim of pursuing her legal education in an international context, she continued her academic studies abroad and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Commercial and Economic Law at SOAS, University of London.
